Where is my data? On your device, and only there. There is no account and no server, so there is nothing to log into and nothing to recover remotely.
I got a new phone and my log is empty. Two ways back. If you restored the new phone from an iCloud or Android backup, the log normally comes with it. If not, or if you set the phone up as new: on the old phone, Setup → Your data → Export everything and send the file to yourself; on the new one, Setup → Import from a backup and paste it in. It replaces what is on the new phone with what was on the old. There is no server-side copy, so if the old phone is gone and there was no backup, there is nothing to restore from.
Why are burned calories not added back to my target? Because calorie burn estimates from duration and effort are rough, and eating back a number that might be 30 percent high is the most common way a deficit quietly disappears. The burn is shown so you can see it, and left out of the target on purpose.
Can it read my Apple Watch? Not in this version. The Setup tab says so rather than showing a button that does nothing.
The targets do not match what another app told me. Loadout uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation with standard activity multipliers. Other apps use Harris-Benedict or Katch-McArdle and will land somewhere different. If you already know your numbers, you can type them in on the Setup tab and the app will stop deriving them.
I want my data out. Setup → Your data → Export everything. It produces one text file with the whole log: profile, targets, every day, every workout, weigh-ins and your custom foods. Save it anywhere you like. It is plain JSON, so it is yours to read or move into another tool.
Email support@loadout.com.co with your phone model, the OS version, and what you did just before it went wrong. There is no crash reporting in the app, so a description is genuinely all there is to go on.
